Kirk Kennel
Owner, Seed Salesman, Crop Consultant, Agronomist
We’re committed to helping you succeed with the right products, the right service, and the right agronomic insights.
Kirk Kennel started his ag career as a crop consultant in 1998 and began selling Pioneer® seed in 2005.
“We strive to offer great service,” says Kirk. “We’re available 24/7 during the planting season. Plus, any grower who purchases seed from us is guaranteed two agronomist visits per field throughout the year.”
Kirk finds the agronomy side of his business particularly pleasing. “It helps us show growers ways to improve their operations,” he says, “which is a great way to build long-term relationships.”
Kennel Seed and Ag’s community involvement includes sponsorship of nearby county fairs and donations to the Davenport Library, local sports teams, and the community building.
Throughout his years in business, Kirk has adopted the Pioneer business Philosophy "The Long Look". The four different parts of the philosophy are the guiding principles that Kennel Seed & Ag use in their business.
Originally written in 1952, the Pioneer business philosophy has evolved since its incorporation in 1926. While they've added and subtracted many products and services over the years, the “Long Look” business philosophy has remained constant.
This philosophy — Pioneer's attitude toward research, production and marketing, and the worldwide network of Pioneer people — will always remain true to the four simple statements of business policy that have guided them since the early years.
We strive to produce the best products on the market.
